Kaylee and Colby

Some weddings feel special because of the place. Some because of the people. Kaylee and Colby’s was both.  

Kaylee and Colby are longtime friends of Kayla’s, so capturing their wedding wasn’t just another date on the calendar — it was personal. The three of them met at Roger Williams University, and from the very beginning, their relationship has been rooted in friendship, creativity, and a whole lot of fun.  

They were married at the stunning Oceanview of Nahant, overlooking the water just outside of Boston. Before the celebration kicked into full gear, they shared private vows on the beach — equal parts laughter and tears, heartfelt and completely them. It was intimate, emotional, and unscripted in the best way.  

Their ceremony was officiated by Colby’s uncle and woven together with words written by close friends and family. You could feel how deeply supported they are — not just as a couple, but as individuals. The entire day carried this sense of joy that never felt forced. It was natural. Effortless. Infectious.  

And then, they did what only Kaylee and Colby would do.  

As two incredibly talented musicians, they surprised their guests by taking the stage with their band, Small Talk. What started as a wedding reception quickly turned into a full-blown concert. The dance floor wasn’t just packed — it was electric. Singing, jumping, hands in the air. It was the kind of moment you don’t plan for, but you never forget.  

I wish I could give Kayla a million stars. My husband and I were SO, SO lucky to have her capture our wedding and put together the most amazing video. She was intentional, thoughtful, kind, and a really fun presence during our day. I rewatch our wedding videos regularly and am always in tears. We are so grateful for her and everything she created for us. Her talent is unmatched, and she is an absolute wizard when it comes to videography. Could not recommend her more!
