What videography style do you offer (cinematic highlight vs documentary/full film)?
Our style is candid, story-driven, and rooted in authenticity. We focus on capturing your day as it naturally unfolds—real emotion, real reactions, and the in-between moments you may not even see happening.
Every couple receives a cinematic highlight film that tells the story of the day in a way that feels honest and true to you. We also offer longer-form edits that include full ceremony and speech coverage, preserving the moments exactly as they happened.
Think less staged production... and more living, breathing memories—beautifully documented.
Will you be the person filming our wedding, or do you use associate shooters?
We operate as a team under Bold Heart Weddings. You’ll be working with Kayla at every wedding! Depending on the date and coverage needs, you may work directly with Kayla and one of our trusted team members—each trained to film in the Bold Heart style. Kayla leads creative direction and ensures every film reflects our style and standards.
How many videographers will be there at my wedding, and what’s included in the coverage?
Both of our wedding packages include one videographer (Kayla).
Our first package includes six hours of coverage, typically capturing your ceremony through key reception moments like your first dance and speeches. From this coverage, you’ll receive a 3–5 minute highlight film that beautifully captures the essence of your day.
Our second package includes 8–10 hours of coverage, allowing for a more comprehensive story of the day—from getting ready in the morning through the energy of the reception.
For couples who want full coverage of both partners getting ready, multiple camera angles during the ceremony, and stronger reception coverage, we recommend adding a second videographer to the second package. If you’re interested in having two videographers, we’re happy to provide a custom quote.
Do you record clear audio for vows, speeches, and the ceremony (and how do you capture it)?
Yes. Clear audio is essential to great storytelling. We use professional lavalier microphones for vows and dedicated audio recorders connected to the DJ or sound system for speeches and ceremony audio. We always build in backup recording methods to ensure nothing is missed.
Can we watch a few full wedding films (not just highlight reels) to see what a complete deliverable looks like?
Absolutely. We have full wedding videos linked on this page for you to view what a full experience looks like. We’re happy to share other full wedding films so you can see exactly what a complete delivery looks like—from ceremony edits to full speeches.
What’s included in your wedding video packages (hours, deliverables, add-ons), and what do extra hours cost?
Packages typically include a set number of coverage hours (the lowest coverage between 6–8 hours, the most covering a full day which is up to 10 hours). Deliverables include a cinematic highlight film and a teaser video delivered within 1 week of your wedding date.
Add-ons may include full ceremony and speech edits, drone coverage, rehearsal dinner coverage, and additional hours. Extra coverage hours are available for an additional hourly rate and can be added before or on the wedding day (if available).
What is your turnaround time for delivery, and how will we receive the final films?
Our typical turnaround time is 8–12 weeks, depending on the season. Final films are delivered through a private online gallery where you can stream, download, and share with friends and family.
How do you work with our photographer and other vendors on the wedding day?
We collaborate closely with your photographer and planner to keep the day running smoothly. We communicate ahead of time, respect each vendor’s role, and prioritize creating a calm, efficient environment so you can stay present.
Do you film weddings in Massachusetts (MA) and Connecticut (CT)?
Yes. We regularly film weddings throughout Massachusetts and Connecticut, as well as all of New England.
